So, can anyone tell me when to use this finger movement???
Most of you are being limited to wrist-elbow. And can someone also help me with sweeps?? I'm having problems with my right hand 'cause the notes don't seem to be clear when I try to cross the 10-12 notes per second boundary and my left hand is smooth enough to get to that speed( I can tell cause i usually try appregio patterns with amp volume full and just using left hand).

WEll bro ...
trust me on this when people give you opinion about hand yesari rakhne , pick yesari samatne,, wrist chalaune , elbow chalaune.
This is all bakwas..

Tyo naturally nai hune kura ho. till few years ago mero ni elbow chalthiyo tara as i have gradually increased my left hands speed and learnt picking techniques aafai finger movement huna thalyo.

Well when your right and left hand both are in balance automatically your fingers start to move (from wrist)rather than your elbow.

Well but you'll need to be around 16-20 notes per second from your left hand in slur and legatos for that.

Actually fast pick garda ra slow pick garda pick ko movement aautai huncha
.. therefore as you practice slow ..tehi movement lai nai fast banaune ho..people usually in order to play faster ...try to escape this fact.

You seem to get a clear sound before moving to 10-12 notes. Metronome use garera practice gara m sure your movement would be fast.

^Thanks for the tips but it'd be really great if I had a instructor to guide me. Even a week would be enough for me to catch up with everything 'cause right now I am able to do scalar patterns at around 14-16 nps accurately - can exceed that limit but I start sounding sloppy so I better not. Just because of this SLC I'm not getting time to practice but thinking about attending few workshops or some special classes after SLC. So do you guys know anyone near Patan who is a kickass guitar instructor??

Let me guess, you've been playing Jason Becker a lot haven't you? Don't tell me you've forgotten how to slow down.

I don't know what that means but it still doesn't answer my question. How do you Play 14-16 notes per second? seriously.

Well, feeling awkward to answer this question, just don't get you. I pick up my guitar, hold my pick in hand, set up the metronome at 216-250( 250 is the limit up to which I can play scale runs accurately )beats per minute then play 4 notes per beat using alternate picking. Does that answer your question??
Well, 14-16 nps is the range where I am accurate and fast. If your pointing that out, I've given the range since I'm still practicing within that range.

My opinion would be metronomes too.

That way u get to understand ur clean playing abilities and speed.

Every guitarist has his own opinion on whose techniques works best.

It's how u feel comfortable sometimes and how making the motion fast. Yes there are always systematic way of going though.

There is a software called Guitar Speed Trainer. RAmro cha.. use that one Archillies . That might help u.

And  on serious note-
Pranjal bro could be one good instructor near Patan, or maybe i would seriously recommend u guitarss brother like Insert Username Did.
