My sister's trying to learn.

Here's how my 10 year old brother does it. Slows down the speed of the demos. Seeks each playing note's notation in the LCD. Then he tries to locate that note. And plays along. And so on.

Let us say that the process of memorizing notes in this fashion is arduous, if anything, for a 9-10 year old untutored outside of his music class at school. Which is why I salute his efforts secretly, and provide him with sheet music - from the internet - whenever I can.

This way he learnt Ode to Joy. I was almost in tears when I heard him play it. I think he knows Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata though I haven't heard him play those.

But the downside to this is he can't play with two hands. And for that I think you really do need a tutor.

Im trying to make her play good stuff so that she can teach me.

Get an instructor or teach her to read music.
No genuine keyboard player reads tab.
