indecision !!!!!!!!!!!!

usually its not really the kind of hardcore i'm into but this band just rips. a short introduction from wikipedia

Formed in 1993 in Brooklyn, NY, disbanded summer 2000 in El Paso, TX. Notorious for their tireless work ethic, Indecision toured the world until exhaustion, literally. They released three full length albums, as well as countless 7"s and EPs. Took pages from Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front and the Cro-Mags as well as the West coast sounds of Unbroken, Undertow and Outspoken and created a sound of their own. Indecision is revered for their uncompromising integrity. Inspired some, hated by many but ultimately respected by all.

two bands/albums i think everyone should try. totally unrelated style wise but both great none the less.

discharge - i'm not really good with explaining things but this band touches the inner core of my heart. most of all the bands i really love are influenced by discharge. early discharge before 1986 were just sick . i highly recommend their album hear nothing, see nothing say nothing plus all their eps ( so good!!!!)  metallica recorded some songs of theirs and just this morning i read an interview of the vocalist of sigh ( jap metal band) and he said those were the worst covers he ever heard, it had no rage. i totally agree. how can you top fuckin' discharge ?  Smiley

gorilla biscuits  - start today
i listened to this album so much during 2006. not one bad song in this album. just awesome stuff. i had this album back home. i downloaded it last week again. brings back lots of memories. great music, great meaningful lyrics. this music will have you singing along and fuckin' humming these songs for days unend.  raging hc with memorable melodies . you don't know how many times i have said to myself gorilla biscuits are the best band ever while listening to them. still thought the same thing while i was outside today listening to them on my mp3 player.  i never get tired of this album.   Smiley

Fuck yes! First fuckin' Blood. They should be getting a new album out this year. About time too. Ditto for Have Heart. And yes, Terror's new album will be out later this year as well.

You're welcome. Which bands did you like?

Also here's a great article about the "fallen warriors" of sXe. Thousand "LOLs" at edge-breaker Rick Rodney (Strife).

i read that article.  theres a line that champion's Jim Hesketh says in the live album after the song monument " don't look to these things to define yourself if you wanna drink thats fine but don't become a fuckin' drinker" i think thats the perfect take on it.

Good God!!! I'm seeing these guys in June at HC '08 and I didn't even realize they were so awesome.

Look at that lineup. Extortion + Voorhees' frontman....VOORHEES!!!

I should start looking for their EP.

Huggy, did you download Judge from my blog? Recommended. They're one of my favourite 3 classic youth crew bands, the other two being Gorilla Biscuits and Youth Of Today.

i'm missing out on such great bands. thanks for judge. good lyrics too. i like that the vocals. though sounds full of rage are very understandable. bringing it down(killer song) hold me back, give it up, like you (nice change at the start with the clean guitars this song is a bit different from the others) ,new york crew, warriors(although thats a cover song of an english oi band read it in wiki), take me away fuck all the songs are good in their own way. right now i really like the song give it up, really like the lyrics and how it builds up goes really fast then slows down again. killer stuff.

I'm really not into D-beat, or Crust/Anarcho punk, for that matter. The only Discharge album I like is "Hear Nothing..." but I'm not too crazy about it either. There are a few D-beat/crust influenced bands I'm into but that's about it.
