what's the cheapest but handy/best effect u can get at a price above G1X??umm.. i.e. around 12-15k. Deep Music the only place?

I don't know if it's available at Deep Music or not, but try buying the Digitech RP55 or RP90. I'd recommend Korg AX1500G for 15K, but then the production of the pedal has been discontinued.

how's zoom g2?

I haven't used it so I can't be sure, but I don't like zoom. I've used these 606, 707, GFX etc from zoom, and all of them sucked. G2 might be something different, I don't know. You better check it out yourself. When you do, share your experience here. Smiley

So it has USB audio interface with Cubase LE4 compatibility. That's a nice thing to have, if you're a home based player like me. You have to check it yourself if it is actually good or not though.

They won't charge you money just for checking. Deep ma gayera tyo price range ko bhaye bhar ko effects check gara.

If you're interested simplysid, I can sell you my Korg AX1500G for 12,000. I'm sure you know that it's a great processor. if you're interested here's the pic:

by the way, let me tell you that one of the memory bank switch is very stiff (you have to step on it pretty hard to turn it on) . tyo 1 number wala. but I think it can be repaired, i dont know. However, I dont think that is so much of a problem 'cause you still have  full accessibility to ALL the effects and Amp modeling. tyo 1 no. channel ko stiff bhaera farak pardaina kina ki you would still have much more options than the Zoom G2 .

I wouldnt sell this at all, but I'm in real need for hard cash right now so I'm willing to do this. if you're interested, come over to my place and check it out.

Guitar --> Korg AX1500G modeling processor --> Line 6 Spider III 30 watt digital modeling amp.

I sold my Korg, so for now, I'm just a plug and play guy. Line 6 gives me a decent tone, not as good as the Korg but it's good. the clean channel is really good, the crunch is decent, the metal channel sucks, but the Insane channel is very good.  Smiley efficient, happy and waiting!

I rarely use my Zoom 606 these days, except sometimes when I like to rock the wah-wah. I just plug my guitar into my Peavey Rage 15 watt amp and play it on the drive channel with a slight gain, with the tone knob on the guitar turned all the way down to 0. The result is a 60's fuzzy and overdriven tone like Clapton. I rarely use my bridge pickup because the neck and middle pickups deliver the right tone for me. I am thinking about getting a treble booster because my B and E string seem very quiet because all the treble from the pickup is getting cut off. I also desperately need to get a compressor to tame those sonic irregularities coming from my cheap pickups. hehe

Zoom 606 ko wah wah timilai ramro lagchha ra?

Herum na bro. Photo post gara na.

Omg I hate it when the tone knob is turned turned low. I hate how that kills the harmonics. Actually, I don't even need the tone knob because it's ALWAYS turned all the way up. Smiley But then, that's just me and 'me' is not 'you'. hehe personal choices.

God damn, seriously? I'm a bridge pickup guy all the way. But then once again, that's just me and 'me' is not 'you'. personal choices. lol  Grin

The wah is just average because it lacks the depth and response of a real wah pedal. But, I don't have other choices so I am sticking to this one right now. And it isn't that I never use my bridge pickup, it's just that I don't like to use it often. I like a fat creamy tone, like the creamy Clapton cream sound, David Gilmour during Ummagumma live era. With the fuzz I prefer a little more harsh dynamics to simulate the 'torn-speaker' effect like Mudhoney. So, i use the settings that i use.hehe
To give you an idea, check out the sound samples of the pedals named You Dirty Rat and Turbo Rat below:

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-TransTube-Rage-158-1x8-15W-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=481364

Thats the amp. Very basic solid-state practice combo with a 3 parameter tone control. And it also combines a voicing switch that can provide two equalising choices; Vintage and Modern. I always use the Vintage Cheesy.

Aww thanks ES ♥ I missed you too!! *sniff*

Hey I think this might be the right place to ask what a LINE 6... .. rack... effect thing is.. and how much it costs... I think it might be Japanese...

Yes, I am a disgrace in the name of an electric guitarist and I try to stick to my nylon strings as far as possible... Cheesy

http://line6.com/products/

I have no idea what you mean by 'rack... effect thing' though.

I think she meant rack mounted effects as opposed to pedals. As the name suggests, rack effects are placed on racks, and are mostly used in recording studios. I hope that helps
