Everyone lets post your guitar picture, write about the specifications, the pickups and whatever you have to share about your guitar.
And can anyone teach me how to upload a picture.

SX package. I'll post pictures later, but I doubt anyone's interested.

Anyway, I didn't wanna start a new topic on this, so here goes: I'm getting an acoustic soon, and I can't decide between yamaha and fender. I saw a fender in deep music (the only one they have), but 23,000 seems to be a little to much. I don't know if the price is reasonable. Whereas, yamaha(kantipath) is cheaper, sounds equally good, and it also has better customer services. Suggestions?

Malai aru le bhane anusarr..Takamine acoustics are the best. If you are loooking for guitars around 20grands they are the best. Between Yamaha and Fender, I would chose Yamaha.

Funny I was window-shopping at the Yamaha showroom in Kantipath today.. is that the blue acoustic just by the window you're talking about? Grin

And I too owned a SX guitar (Gibson SG copy) once ... it wasn't good. If I were you, I'd get rid of my SX and buy a nice electric guitar first and then worry about acoustic guitars.

Well, about my guitar- I own an Ibanez RG550 guitar. It is Made In Japan and with Original Edge Lo Pro Floyd Rose so I dont have to worry much about offtunings. I can do wild stuffs with it..hehe

About the pickups, it has V7(neck), S1(middle) and V8(bridge) pickups. I find these pickups good enough for me as they have a mild and warm tone which I desire.

The best thing about my guitar is the neck- Super Wizard Three Piece Maple necks are really thin and is easy for fast playing.

Jackson DK2m dinky

Almost about a year old. the only difference in between the guitar in that picture and the same gutiar that I have right now is I don't have the Volume knob and I  have some tapes over the bridge pickup.

I'm gonna re-do the body some time- sand it down to bare again(one layer) and then re-furnish it.

pick guard? I can always change it.  I don't have the motivation to right now-replace it with a plain white sometime.

Yeah pick guard. You should change it to plain white... it looks a little girly hehehe. That fretboard looks delicious though.

Here are mine:
From left to right: The other ladies in my life-

Fender American Vintage 1957 Reissue 'Thinskin' Stratocaster in Two Tone SunBurst finish. (She's the sweet and innocent lover)

Gibson 1961 Reissue SG in Heritage Cherry. (She's the wild thing, the naughty nasty woman who'll tie you up and whip your ass)

Fender American Vintage 1952 Reissue 'Thinskin' Telecaster. (In the end she's the one I keep coming back to time and again, my true and 'I've been a bad bad boy, take me back' girl! LOL

Wait with robbing my house plans till its the end of 2008....I am finally adding a Historic R8 Les Paul in Ice Tea OR a R4 LP in Goldtop with P90 pickups to the brood! FINALLY!

They look like this...

Here's the R8 in Ice Tea with PAF Humbuckers:

and here's the R4 in Goldtop with cream P-90's.

Which one do you guys like better and why?
