and yet Infernal Overkill is if not then one of the best metal albums out there. The audacity of that album is beyond any words. And not only that, up to metal discharge they are absolutely awesome to listen to. They too have been modernised like slayer or kreator or sodom or any other bands of that period. Anyway, thats whole another topic to go to.
they have always strike me as something different. Something not just another casual thrash bands, they were absolutely different from anything 'Thrash' that i have ever heard of!
For me Destruction was always about their own style of playing, far away from the likes of slayer or sodom or anything else. They just had their own sound and style. Some get it and some don't.
You know, they define their music. You don't say, destruction plays thrash or rock or blues or whatever. I don't listen to them because they play thrash or metal or anything else. I just listen to Destruction and that's about it. That's what i have always thought about them.
